    • Users must manually set an email address for display on their public portfolio pages.

    • Portfolizer uses default Django cookies: csrftoken (used to protect against cross-site request forgery attacks), django_language (stores the user's language preference) and sessionid (used to maintain user session state after login).
    • These cookies are essential for website functionality.

  • Automatically Collected Data:

    • We do not collect any data automatically, except data collected by Sentry (our error tracking service).

How We Use Your Data

  • Account Management:

    • Email addresses are used for login, identifying users, and communication.

  • Portfolio Pages:

    • Optional personal information is used to generate user portfolios and PDFs.
    • Users can choose to publish or unpublish their portfolio pages.

  • Communication:

    • We may use your email address to send important updates, notifications, or promotional content related to Portfolizer.

Data Sharing

  • We do not share your data with third parties. However, our website is hosted on DigitalOcean servers located in France.

Data Security

  • Passwords are encrypted (hashed) before storage.
  • Personal data is stored securely in our database.
  • HTTPS ensures data is encrypted during transmission.
  • Only superusers can access all users and portfolios via Django Admin.

  • Access and Update: You can view and update your data via Django Admin.
  • Delete: You can delete your account or unpublish/delete your portfolio.
